Sports Monster Events and Rewards

Sports Monster also offers rewards to our customers for finishing first during regular season, entering a 2nd team for same season and referring new teams. Here are the details:

 

Regular Season First Place Prize - Finish first for the regular season in any league confirmed as participating in this program and your team will receive a $50 or $100 bar tab. Here's how it works:

  • Refer to your league's Details section to see if your league is part of this promotion.
  • If your league is part of this promotion, smaller format leagues (Basketball, Floor Hockey, Indoor Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball) are eligible for a $50 bar tab prize.
  • If your league is part of this promotion, larger format leagues (Football, Kickball, Outdoor Soccer, Softball) are eligible for a $100 bar tab prize.
  • Winning team captain will be notified of bar tab prize and the two upcoming social event dates the bar tab will be valid for use. Bar tab value is only valid for those two offered events or is void.

 

Multi-Team Bar Tab Bonus - Put in a 2nd team of any sport same season and earn $100 bar tab! Here's how it works:

  • Person entering a 2nd team must be on an active roster of a team playing the same season to qualify. At time of registration, you will be asked what other team you are playing with/captain of for the same season.
  • Failure to answer the team question and/or failure to be on another team's active roster within 2 weeks of that team's registration shall void this offer.
  • Person entering a 2nd team must be captain of the new team to qualify.
  • 2nd team can be any sport or format.
  • Upon verification of 2nd team qualification, the team captain will receive confirmation of the $100 bar tab to be available for their choice of two upcoming social events. Bar tab value is only valid for those two offered events or is void.
  • Offer is good for operational Leagues only.
  • Bonus offer is valid EVERY season this program is live.

 

Team Referral Bar Tab - Tell your friends to play Sports Monster and get a $100 bar tab! Here's how it works:

  •  During registration, New Team captain will be asked who referred them to Sports Monster. If there is no referenced player, bonus offer is void.
  •  New Team cannot be a reconstituted league team from the previous calendar year for the same sport. Online roster must be comprised of at least 80% new players for this sport.
  •  New team must have an online roster equal to or greater than a full complement of players to field a full squad for that sport. This roster must be posted online not later than 4 weeks after the registration date.
  •  Person referenced MUST be participating as an active rostered player for the same season as the new team to qualify. This means that you have to be playing the same league season but on a different team in an operational league.
  •  Upon verification of referral, the referral player will receive confirmation of the $100 bar tab to be available for their choice of two upcoming social events. Bar tab value is only valid for those two offered events or is void.

Fees:
-Team Fee
*$20 per player during registration for standard roster
*Standard team roster of 2 players

-Individual
*$25 standard registration fee per player
*Individuals are placed on a team with other individuals or similar skill levels.
*If you want your friends to be placed together, it is fine to register as individuals and reference each other for same team placement. Note that we cannot guarantee same team placement based on supply and demand. And you may also have additional players added to fill roster. If you want to control your roster, register as a full team.

Details:
*3 game guarantee
*Games are to 21
*Playoffs are single-elimination
*Winning team receives a trophy or shirts

Charity:
Each team shall select a charity of their choosing at time of registration. The winning team's charity shall be the beneficiary of this event. Charities listed MUST be legitimate or The American Red Cross shall be the default recipient. Team fees reflect the charity donation.

Weather:
Should the tournament have to be shortened for weather, if at least 1/2 the matches have been played, the tournament shall be considered completed and the winning team will be determined by best overall record. If 1/2 the matches have not been played, the "rain-date" policy shall be in effect. Should the tournament be canceled due to weather, the "rain-date" for this event is November 29th. If your team is unable to attend, you may opt to receive full credit for a future tournament in the next twelve months OR receive a 50% refund. If the "rain-date" is also canceled, full refunds to participating teams shall be processed.

Levels of play:
*Recreational

Signing up as an individual? Great! Indie teams are formed based on supply and demand. We will provide a refund if individuals cannot be placed.

Join us Thanksgiving weekend with your friends and family and play some flag football! It doesn't get any better than this! You're guaranteed at least 3 games and tons of fun!

*Individuals are placed on a team with other individuals or similar skill levels.

*Maximum roster size of 14 but most individual teams have 8-10 players.
