Off And Running
It may not be Minnesota cold outside, but at least our games are in a dome, where the action last night for the winning teams were hot. We have a few new teams in this season so they had bumps and bruises and will be ready to roll next week.

Manziels Money Team over IJUS 36-6. This was a close game early as both teams struggled out of the gates, but the Money Team lead it 14-6 at the half after a hail mary from IJUS to cut into the lead. However, that momentum swing did not help IJUS in the 2nd half as Manziels Team dominated the half and cruised to an easy 36-6 victory.

The LC after a rough fall season is ready to redeem themselves going up against Right in the Chitra. The LC started strong and held up on defense holding the new Chitra team to just 6 points. Chitra played solid defense for their first time out and surely see blue skies ahead but falls this week 25-6

Black Team rolls through the Fathers House 50-12. It was the highest scoring game of the night as the Black Team does what the black team does which is score alot of points. Fathers House never stood much of a chance being their first week, but held strong and will learn from playing one of the bests early in the season.

Cant Touch This Captures 1st victory of season over Drunken Knights 26-12. Probably the best game of the night as both of these newcomers got to square of against each other. Cant Touch This looked to pick it up a little quicker able to get out to a lead and hold on as the Drunken Knights sobered up at the end, but couldnt find the end zone enough.

Looking Ahead to Week 2
LC v. Fathers House - Still to early to tell how these teams will fair this season, but Fathers House will get a better matchup to see where they stand amongst the rest of the pack. The LC will look to continue newfound success and notch up another W.

Cant Touch This v. IJUS - If IJUS can cut out the turnovers they will be in position to win, Cant Touch This is confident after their week 1 victory and look to keep it up again for a 2nd week.

Right In the Chitra v. Drunken Knights - Both teams coming off a loss and someone will be hungry for a win in week 2 to keep up with the rest of the league. Loser will be in a tough hole!

Black Team v. Manziels Money Team - Both teams had big victories to start the season with. Is the Black Team due to be upset or will they continue their dominance?
BLACK TEAM ON THE ROPES
Couple of great games last night along with a couple of whammies, but overall play is getting better and should be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out!

BLACK TEAM COMES OUT MONEY AGAINST MANZIELS MONEY TEAM 36-32. The Black Team had all they could handle last night as Manziels Money Team started strong going up 12-0, but the Black Team wouldnt roll over. It was 12-6 at halftime but the Black Team struck quick on their 1st possession to make it 14-12, however Manziels Team answered right back to make it 19-14. Once again Black Team struck quick to make it 20-19 and then got some cushion to make it 28-19. Manziels Team wouldnt go away quietly though cutting the lead to 3 at 28-25, One more TD late in the game pretty much wrapped it up for the Black Team making it 36-25 but Manziels Team made it interesting making it 36-32, but a Black Team 1st down under a minute left was all she wrote in this exciting back and forth game.

RIGHT IN CHITRA OUTLASTS DRUNKEN KNIGHTS IN OT 13-12. The closest game of the night had these two teams defenses working hard keeping their opponents out of the endzone. In the end we had to go to OT to find a winner and unfortunately for the Knights they would not be able to capture their first W of the season and the Chitra celebrates their first W.

FATHERS HOUSE CRUSH THE LC 30-6 - Fathers House had a rough first week 1 against the Black Team but came back strong against the LC who couldnt get out of their own way this week after a good week 1 victory. Fathers House are looking to take good steps each week improving and it showed this week.

CANT TOUCH THIS REMAINS PERFECT OVER IJUS 40-12. There are only 2 remaining undefeated teams left in the league and Cant Touch This has another impressive win over the still winless IJUS, who are still looking to put it together.

PREVIEW WEEK 3
CANT TOUCH THIS V. BLACK TEAM - The matchup of the week right here as after this week we will be down to 1 undefeated team!

DRUNKEN KNIGHTS V., MANZIELS MONEY TEAM - The Knights looking to capture their 1st W of the season and Manziels bunch is looking to get back on the winning track.

LC V. IJUS - LC didnt look up to par this past week and IJUS will be looking to keep them down, but IJUS will need to get up first. Should be a great matchup.

CHITRA V. FATHERS HOUSE - Both teams coming off wins this week so both will want to continue the happy feeling of victory, but someone will get knocked down a peg.
ONLY 1 UNDEFEATED LEFT
Some good games last night and after 3 weeks we have just 1 perfect team remaining. No surprise here who it is. The rest of the league all looks pretty balanced for the most part and sure there will be changes from 2-8 throughout the season.

BLACK TEAM CRUSHES CANT TOUCH THIS 44-18. The last two undefeated teams squared off and the excitement for the game was over quickly as the Black Team jumped out to an early lead and Cant Touch This couldnt catch up.

MANZIELS $ TEAM OUTLASTS DRUNKEN KNIGHTS 32-20. Close game all the way through as the Knights held Manziels short handed team in check in the 1st half with it tied up, but a late TD put up Manziels team by 2 TDs and the Knights were put down again and still winless. Sure it is coming soon though.

LC AND IJUS PLAY IN DEFENSIVE BATTLE 14-7 FOR THE LC.
If offense is what you were looking for it was not to be found in this game. Both teams struggled to find the endzone, but in the end we had a winner and the LC found a way to capture the victory and leaving IJUS still winless.

FATHERS HOUSE OVER CHITRA 18-12
Another tightly contested battle as Chitra was looking for the big upset victory had the Fathers House on the ropes but could not close out the game as Fathers House late TD put Chitra down for the count.

IJUS V. BLACK TEAM - IJUS will need to bring their A game just not to get embarrassed by the Black Team, but hey its sports and things happen!

CANT THOUCH THIS V. CHITRA - Will the lose hurt Cant Touch This' Mojo or will they get back on track. Chitra will have something to say about this though.

MANZIELS MONEY TEAM V. LC - Both teams are standing at 2-1 so someone will drop this week, but look for a good matchup and may the best defense win!

FATHERS HOUSE V. DRUNKEN KNIGHTS - The Knights still looking for Win 1 and the Fathers House will try and keep that from happening. Should still be a great matchup.

CLOSING TIME
As we head into the final week all we know for sure is that the Black Team is the 1 seed and IJUS will be the 8 seed, but work is still to be done with seeds, but from action last night.

LC - 26 DRUNKEN KNIGHTS - 2
Not a good showing from the Knights last night whose only points came from a safety. The Knights have been playing good ball lately and look to be a tough team to beat come playoff time.

FATHERS HOUSE - 38 IJUS - 12
IJUS still looking for their first W of the season and its going to half to wait at least another week as Fathers House captured yet another victory. Outside their Week 1 loss they have rolled up 5 straight victories and captured the 2 seed already.

MANZIELS MONEY TEAM - 50 CANT TOUCH THIS - 32
It was a crazy first half as both teams scored each possession with Manziels Team leading it 21-20 at the half, but the 2nd half Cant Touch This couldnt keep the pace up as the Money Team made their conversions count and the points added up quickly,

BLACK TEAM - 44 CHITRA - 12
No question here as the Chitra tried to compete with the Black Team but the Chitra found out the hard way its hard to put points on the board against the wily vets

MANZIELS MONEY TEAM V. FATHERS HOUSE - Can the Money Team stop the streak? Will the Fathers House come to the playoffs as one of the betting favorites to play the Black Team in the Ship? Not much on the line here for Fathers House as the 2nd seed is theirs, but for Manziels Team could be the 3,4,5 or 6 seed.

DRUNKEN KNIGHTS V. BLACK TEAM - Do you believe in miracles? If you do then the Knights have a chance and hey thats why we play the game.

IJUS V. CHITRA - IJUS has one more chance to get in the win column, but Chitra has plans of their own as well in moving on up in the standings.

CANT TOUCH THIS V. LC - Should be the best game of the week with seedings are concerned. LC wins and they are the 3 seed. Cant Touch This wins then it becomes madness across the board. Looking forward to this one folks!

PLAYOFF TIME!
Whose ready for some playoffs! Its warming up outside as we are wrapping it up on the inside. Lots of great matchups as we claw our way to the finish. However, speaking of outside heres my pitch for outdoor spring ball at Huntley Bowl. Games are at 6 and 7pm and we can take 8 teams on Wed Nights and 12 on Sundays.

1) BLACK TEAM V. 8) IJUS - Shouldnt be too hard for the Black Team to navigate this game, but thats why you play IJUS will be coming out ready to play and pull off an upset!

2) FATHERS HOUSE V. 7) DRUNKEN KNIGHTS - Both teams coming off week 7 losses but the Fathers House still the favorites in this game as the Knights have not had much luck with offense this season trying to get it together for this week at least.

3) LC V. 6) CHITRA - This could be a good game if the Chitra comes with the right mindset. The LC has been consistent all season and looks to go the distance.

4) MANZIELS MONEY TEAM V. 5) YOU CANT TOUCH THIS -
You Cant Touch this has been in a free fall the last few weeks and look to climb out, and the Money Team has been rolling lately so what will give?

Playoffs Round 2
Round 1 is in the books with some lopsided games. Only 1 real upset in the books and it was the classic 4/5 matchup game where You Cant Touch This outplayed Manziels Money Team.

3) LC V. 2) FATHERS HOUSE - For this Game LC please wear an alternative color since both teams wear light blue (also dont wear black as your alternate color).
The Fathers House crushed the LC in their first meeting but LC is looking for revenge. We will see what happens in this game.

5) You Cant Touch This v. 1) Black Team - Black Team had no problems with you Cant Touch This back in Week 3, so has YCTT made the necessary adjustments to defeat the mighty Black Team?
