Winter 2016 Tuesday Coed Indoor Volleyball @ BOSCO Center

Skillz that Killz and Team Frost opened our season with a thriller. The first set required some extra play with Team Frost taking the 26-24 victory. Team Frost came back strong again in set number two, winning by 5. Skillz that Killz did come back to take the final set, to prevent Team Frost from getting the sweep.

Ace Ace Baby and the Volleybrawlers went back and forth in our second match up of the night. The Volleybrawlers were able to take the first set quite convincingly by 15 points. Ace Ace Baby responded by coming back and winning the 2nd set themselves, but couldn't hang on for the 3rd set.

Notorious D.I.G. and Block and Awe met for the final match of the night. Notorious D.I.G. had the advantage of having played with each other before and it paid off, as they were able to sweep all 3 sets from Block and Awe. Block and Awe will look rebound next week in their match up against Team Frost.

Team Frost continued to roll in their match up with the Volleybrawlers. The Volleybrawlers just didn't have an answer to stop Team Frost. The closest set came in the third and was still decided by a decisive 8 points by Team Frost. Team Frost has only dropped 2 sets all season and is in a tight race with Skillz That Killz to grab the #1 seed come playoff time.

Skillz That Killz picked up an important 3 set sweep over the Notorious D.I.G. With the wins Skillz That Killz has stayed on pace with Team Frost to sit on top of the standings. With just 2 weeks to go until playoffs, it'll be a fun race to see who can capture the #1 seed.

Notorious D.I.G. bounced back in their second match of the night and took 2 sets from Ace Ace Baby. These teams were evenly matched, but when it came to "Winning Time" Notorious D.I.G. just had a little more in the tank. With their 2 victories Notorious D.I.G. took control of 3rd place.

Ace Ace Baby and Block and Awe met up for some tight action in the final match of night. Ace Ace Baby squeaked out a close win in the first set by the score of 26-24. They managed to control the second set and win more comfortably by a margin of 11. Block and Awe came storming back in the final set to avoid a sweep and won 25-19.
