League Specific Rules:
Reverse Coed: A team consists of six players, 3 male & 3 female, 2 male & 4 female, or 5 female & 1 male. A team may start with four or five players (3 women & 2 men or 2 women & 3 men), (4 females & 1 male), (3 females & 2 males), four players (2 women & 2 men) (3 females & 1 male).

1.Male players are permitted to spike only behind the attack line. (Ball must rise, except on a block)

2.Male players may serve underhand or overhand only; jump serving is not allowed for men. Both feet must remain on the ground when serving. The heel may come off the ground and the player may roll up onto the toes, but if the server’s foot leaves the ground, this will result in an illegal service and loss of the rally.

Levels of play:
* Bumper = Rec/Lower Intermediate - Out to have a good time playing volleyball. Monitor provided.
* Dinker = Int/Upper Intermediate - Players have decent skills and most teams run an organized offense with one or two setters. Paid ref provided
* Spiker = Competitive - All players have solid skills. Set offenses used by all teams. Paid ref provided

The State of Ohio has required with restart that all teams use individual balls per team, we will no longer share balls between the team. With this additional unplanned expense, we have had to institute a ball fee per team in the amount of $35/team. This fee will apply to any team who uses Sports Monster supplied softballs at any time throughout a given season. Your team may decide to provide your own balls to avoid this fee, but they must match the standard ball, 52/300, that we provide. And if your team chooses to provide your own balls, failure to bring a new ball for any match shall require the League to provide a ball and initiate the full $35 team fee.

*Covid-19 Softball Fee:
The State of Ohio has required with restart that all teams use individual balls per team, we will no longer share balls between the team. With this additional unplanned expense, we have had to institute a ball fee per team in the amount of $35/team. This fee will apply to any team who uses Sports Monster supplied softballs at any time throughout a given season. Your team may decide to provide your own balls to avoid this fee, but they must match the standard ball, 52/300, that we provide. And if your team chooses to provide your own balls, failure to bring a new ball for any match shall require the League to provide a ball and initiate the full $35 team fee.

Facility - Darree Fields is located in West Dublin. Fields and parking are located by the water tower.

Uniforms: No Uniform Requirements

Signing up as an individual? Great! Indie teams are formed based on supply and demand and therefore require flexibility for placement. Give us 3 choices of when/where you can play and there is a 95% successful placement rate - or a refund if we cannot. If you are a guy, you need to be flexible for coed or men's. If you are a gal, you need to be flexible for coed or women's. NOTE: YOU MUST list 2nd and 3rd options (if available) in case this first choice doesn't work out. You will be asked for options when you click to register. You can even list an alternate sport if you like - the goal is to get you playing! - but listing an alternate sport or skill level is not a requirement. If you can only play in this program, we recommend that you put a full team together. If you don't list alternate choices, we will place you in the next available same sport/format/skill level and there are no refunds.

*$41.25 per player during Priority Registration for standard roster
*$45.41 per player during Regular Registration for standard roster
*Standard team roster of 12 players
*Extra player fees = $10 for more than 12 players on roster

-Individual
*$54 Priority registration fee per player
*$59 Standard registration fee per player
*Individuals are placed on a team with other individuals or similar skill levels.
*If you want your friends to be placed together, it is fine to register as individuals and reference each other for same team placement. Note that we cannot guarantee same team placement based on supply and demand. And you may also have additional players added to fill roster. If you want to control your roster, register as a full team.
