Fall 2015 Wednesday Coed Kickball Goodale Park/Southwood Park

We Got the Runs came away with two victories in their doubleheader, scoring 5 runs in both contests. In the first game, they came away with a 5-3 victory over Team Nuts & Butts. We Got the Runs took the early lead, but Nuts & Butts started to threaten late in the game putting runners in scoring position, but didn't drive home enough to get the win.

In their second game, We Got the Runs came away with a 5-2 victory over the Outfield Outkasts. Some aggressive base running and deep kicks allowed We Got the Runs to get on the board early and then they relied on their stout defense to carry them. They held an experienced Outfield Outkast team to their season low in scoring.

Bad News Beers wasted no time, putting up 13 runs in the first 2 innings of their match up with Team Nuts and Butts. Bad News Beers showed off their balanced attack with their entire lineup contributing hits and smart base running. Nuts and Butts were able to control them after their early onslaught but it was too little too late. Bad News Beers will look to continue their perfect season next week with a tough match up against the Barely Legal Bears.

We Got the Runs came away with an impressive 6-3 win over the Barely Legal Bears. They handed the Bears their first loss of the season. The game was close throughout and the defenses both stepped up with some impressive plays and quick innings. We Got the Runs was able to take advantage of some deep shots to take their lead and the Bears were never able to answer. We Got the Runs has now won their 4th straight game.

Pitch, Please had no problems in their final game of the regular season, coming away with a 15-1 victory over Prestige Worldwide. Pitch, Please showed off their speed on the base path, taking any extra bases that Prestige Worldwide would allow them. The Pitch, Please defense also put up a near shut out, only allowing a run in the final inning. They'll look to carry over this impressive performance into the playoffs.
