Summer 16 Wednesday Coed Kickball @ Goodale Park

Week three of the season already! weeks are just flying by. It was a very hot day today but never the less a great day to play some kickball!!!

A Team Has No Name vs. Booze on First

Booze on first just keeps their dominance going! They just can not be stopped this season. Adding another 14 runs to their total putting them at 41 runs in just 3 games. I don't know about you but I think that is pretty impressive. A Team has no name which was just informed a couple weeks ago that they actually do have a name now struggled a bit off the bat. They could not figure out their kicking as they were only able to put up 4 runs in 9 innings. They put a little fight but it wasn't even a bump on the road for the Booze on First team. Booze on First improves to 3-0 while a Team with no Name drops to 1-1

Hump Day Hooligans vs. Kickin it Old School

I do believe it was a very good Hump day this week for these Hooligans! They came out ready to play this week as they come out with a 12-5 win. I do believe one of their player thinks shes playing soccer because that ball was finding her head and face almost every single time. She must of woken up with a headache today ha. If was a fun game to both ump and watch and I'm excited to continue to see and ump these two teams through out the season. Hump day Hooligans improve to 2-1 while Kicking It Old School drops to 1-2

Kick grAss vs. We got the runs

We Got the Runs who are these people. I'll tell you who they are! One hell of a sneaky team! with out even realizing it this team is 2-0 and is looking to compete against the two other big dogs Booze on first and Arch City Tavern. Kick grAss! in the other hand is still struggling to find their team chemistry. All though they seem to get closer every week to getting their first win. I have hope in them! be careful with team Kick grAss, they can be a sleeper team come playoff time. We got Runs wins this game 8-4 improving to 2-0 while kick grAss drops to 0-3

Saved by the Balls vs Str8 Ballin

This game was a very low scoring game yet a good one. You can say it was a great defensive battled game. Both teams limited their mistakes and knew that one bad inning can cost them the game. This is exactly what happened. Saved by the balls had one bad inning late in the game that allowed Str8 Ballin to extend their 2-1 lead to 5-1. After that Saved by the Balls just couldn't find a way back. Str8 Ballin gets their first win in a very long time. Congrats. Str8 Ballin improves to 1-1 while Saved by the Balls drops to 0-2.

Barely Legal Bears Vs. Arch City Tavern

Arch City Tavern yet again with another easy win. This time they didn't kill a team but still came out with a good W. They must of felt bad this week and wanted to play a full fun game instead of run ruling everyone ha. This team is just to much right now. Stay hot Arch City. They improve to 3-0 while barely legal bears drop to 0-3 .

Three undefeated teams left in this league! Will any of them fall next week!!!! Excited to see what is in store next week on Wednesday Night Kickball!!! I shall see everybody next week. Have a great weekend.

One team has fallen from there perfect season today! Arch City has been given their first lose of the season! Who took them out you say? Well of course it was another undefeated team, Booze on First. Booze on First showed Arch City that this league belongs to them and that it was about time that Arch City backed down from them a little bit.

This lose was big for kicking it old school. This was their shot to jump up a little bit in the standings and allowing them a decent seed come playoff time. We got runs just took care of business as usual and kept the win streak alive

This was a huge game for both team! one team trying to stay with the big dogs up top (Hump Day) and one team trying to win to stay alive (A team has no name). Hump day has been on a row lately so you know they came into this game very confident playing a team that had 1 one coming into this week. Boy were they mistaken! A team has no name came to play today! A huge win for them as it kept them alive in the standings! improving their record to 2-3 while Hump Day drops to 3-2

Spotlight team of the season! Kick grAss!!

Girl you better get your team on check. I think she knows who I am talking to ha. You guys play great every week and just always come up a little short. So close yet so far! 0-5 record I know you all are better than that. I rout for you every week so I got your back! You will get your win!

What a season it has been this summer! Great weather to play in all Summer! Not much rain and plenty of sunshine has allowed us to have a smooth season :)

Coming into today there was 4 teams left with only 1 coming out a champion.


A team Has No Name vs Booze on First
A close call for the number two seed as they barely sneak by the number 6 seed in the Semi Finals. It was a tight 0-0 game until the 7th inning when Booze on first finally got some runs on the board. It was a great defensive and pitching dual! The two seed showed why they were number one and that was by always finding a way to win.


Arch City Tavern vs We got the Runs

Everybody came into this game thinking this would be the game of the season. The game that will bring out the champion at the end of the season. Well they were right! The winning tam of this game did go on to be the Champion. We got the Runs handled business today with a 12-5 victory.


We Got the Runs vs Booze on First

The #1 vs #2

The way every playoff bracket should end, the number one vs the number two seed for the championship game. One team trying to finish its perfect season (We Got The Runs) the other team trying to play spoiler and take the title for themselves, talk about a match up here.
To bad Booze on First offensive struggle continued in the championship game as they were blanked by the #1 seed 5-0 giving We Got the Runs the Title.

It was a fun season guys and I am happy to say that it ran smoothly and it was great meeting everybody for the first time. I hope to see you guys around again as the year goes by :).
