Kenosha Starts Season Out Hot
The Kenosha Kickers carried over their momentum from the Spring Season and came out with a 14-7 victory over Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe. Both teams were able to show off productive offenses, as they are in mid season form. Kenosha was able to take advantage of their speed and power to pull away.
Kickerbockers Pull of Doubleheader Sweep
The Kickerbockers swept their doubleheader with a 15-3 win over Balls 2 the Wall and a 14-8 victory over the New Kicks on the Block. The Kickerbockers were able to find the gaps against the short handed teams and manufacture a great deal of runs. They didn't let the heat tire them out as, they were able to almost match their run total in the second game also. We'll see if the Kickerbockers will be able to keep up this impressive run production throughout the season.

Balls 2 the Wall Rallies Late to Force Tie
Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe thought they had a comfortable 4 run lead entering the bottom of the 9th inning. They held a lead for most of the game and had only surrendered 3 runs up until that point. However, Balls 2 the Wall had a surprise for them with a 4 run rally to tie the game up. The whole team contributed to their comeback and even scored several of the runs with 2 outs. Balls 2 the Wall was just shy of completing the comeback victory, but would have to settle for the tie.
Don't Kill My Vibe Gets Rolling in 2nd Game
Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe was all warmed up from the first game of their double header and knocked in 8 runs in the 1st inning. Their offense was steady all game long and even had another 8 run inning later in the contest. The New Kicks tried chipping away at the lead by scoring a few runs early, but were unable to keep up with Don't Kill My Vibe's offensive attack. In the end Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe came away with the 20-6 victory.
Kenosha Kickers Move into 1st Place
The Kenosha Kickers took care of business against the Kickerbockers in a 17-4 victory. These two teams were battling to take over first place in the standings. Kenosha continued to show off their high powered offense with aggressive base running and well placed kicks. They were also able to stymie the Kickerbockers' offense that had been averaging close to 15 runs a game. We'll see what happens when these two teams meet again later in the season.

Balls 2 the Wall & Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe Clash in Thriller
Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe's 19-17 win over Balls 2 the Wall may have been the game of the year. This game had everything: homeruns, spectacular catches, comebacks and of course lots of scoring. Both teams battled throughout the contest and there was no telling what was going to happen next. Neither team was able to build a big enough lead to feel comfortable and they knew either side could strike in any inning. In the end, it was Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe's late rally to pull ahead that was difference.

Kenosha Tops Balls 2 the Wall
The Kenosha Kickers were able to come away with a 3-1 win over Balls 2 the Wall in their closest contest of the season. Runs were at a premium this game, as both defenses were solid and did not give up any freebies. It took well placed kicks and smart aggressive base running to be able to reach scoring position, let alone cross home plate. Kenosha was able to do just enough to walk away with the close win.
Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe on Win Streak
Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe ended the regular season on a 3 game win streak and capped it off with an 8-1 victory over the Kickerbockers. This was Pitch's best defensive performance of the year, allowing a single run in the first inning and holding the Kickerbockers scoreless the remainder of the contest. With their hot play to end the season, Pitch Don't was able to earn the 2 seed and will be looking to take home the trophy in the playoffs.
Perfect Season for Kenosha
The Kenosha Kickers were able to complete their perfect regular season with a 12-1 win over the Kickerbockers. Kenosha experimented with a new lineup and it paid off for them, putting up 12 runs. They also continued their great defensive effort giving up a single run early. Kenosha may have the perfect regular season, but all that matters is taking home the title come playoff time.
