Hot As Balls
We've Got The Runs Come into the Season Clicking
We've Got the Runs showed no rust in their first outing of the season. A solid defensive effort held the Outfield Outkasts to only 3 runs. After a few plate appearances We've Got the Runs were able to figure out the Outkasts' tricky curve and fastball pitches and put together 11 runs.
Hot as Balls Show Off Strong Legs
Hot as Balls were able to show off their strong legs putting up a league high 22 runs. They achieved this by sprinkling in a variety of base hits and timely base clearing home runs. Saved By the Ball was experimenting with different lineups and positions and appeared to begin to figure out their strategy for moving forward in the season towards the end of the contest.
Loose Moose Impress in Season Opener
Loose Moose looked impressive in their 14-1 defeat of Hot as Balls. Their defense held Hot as Balls to a single run after Hot as Balls had knocked in 22 the game before. Loose Moose also displayed a very balanced lineup with everyone contributing hits and smart base running. This proves to be a dangerous combination paired with their solid team defense.

Basic Pitches
Str8 Ballin Offensive Explosion
Str8 Ballin was able to light up the score board with 13 runs in their victory over Loose Moose. Str8 Ballin was able to spread the ball all over the field to rack up the hits. Their defense was also impressive, limiting Loose Moose to just 3 runs after they had scored 14 in the previous week. Str8 Ballin will look to carry this momentum into next week's match up against undefeated We've Got the Runs.
We've Got The Runs Remains Undefeated
We've Got the Runs moved to 2-0 and to the top of the standings with their 8-3 win over Suck My Kick. We've Got the Runs blasted some big kicks to clear the bases and jump out to their lead. Suck My Kick had trouble generating base runners against a stout defense. We'll see next week if We've Got the Runs can continue their quest for the perfect season.

We've Got the Runs on Top of the Standings
We've Got the Runs put together another impressive performance in their 12-8 victory over Str8 Ballin. The game remained tight throughout most of the contest until We've Got the Runs was able to make a push to increase their lead. Both teams showed their ability to strike and put up runs in a flash. They were both able to put up 4 runs in the 9th inning, when they matter the most. Now We've Got the Runs sits atop the standings at 3-0.
Outfield Outkasts Pick Up the Win
The Outfield Outkasts picked up their second victory of the season in a 13-0 game against Saved By the Ball. The Outkasts were able to find the gaps in the defense and drive in runners when they got on base. The Outkasts also displayed a solid defense, keeping Saved by the Ball base runners to a minimum. Saved by the Ball was still tinkering with their lineup, but may have found their groove towards the end of the match up.

They now have just 2 game remaining to try and complete the perfect regular season.
Str8 Ballin Tops Saved by the Ball
Str8 Ballin came away with a 7-1 victory in their matchup against Saved by the Ball. Saved by the Ball was able to get on the scoreboard first but could not duplicate that success as the match went on.
